Hi @G-man

Have reviewed the stations:

Bluewave - on 26th Sept they reconfigured their servers and the flac stream stopped delivering metadata. Their lossy stream has show data but not per track. Nothing we can do on this.

Pureclasix - they’re not embedded metadata in their stream, but I see they use the same server provider as Naim Radio channels, We might be able to get a metadata feed on that one. Leave this one with me.

Radio club 80 - this network is very unreliable and ww have constant issues with stream reliability from them, again its broadcaster side so not much we can do.

Not great news but we can’t control the output of the many broadcasters on the internet.

Although they use the same provider as Naim, they are doing their metadata differently.

I’ve raised a Jira to our server team to add in an adapter for this station. Expect it to appear in the next few months, and once done it will give full extended metadata (so artwork, resolution to album etc).

Hi Steve, I use to listen a lot to ‘KINK’ (Netherlands) and it seems the cover art is not always reflecting the song which is currently playing. Most of the time the cover art is ahead of the music.

Is this something that Naim can solve or perhaps this is on the sender of the stream or the buffering?

Is there any way to add support for the new ad-free Classic FM streams Classic FM Plus. I know they require subscription, so therefore auth, but would be great if it was possible.

That one is provided by Tivo/XPeri. We actually have two meta-engines nowadays. One inhouse and the XPeri one. We’re in the process of transitioning various Ducth stations to our system so will do this one as it sounds like it has issues.

It seems to be a closed eco-system so I don’t think we’ll be able to get them into the system. I’ll write them an email and see what noises they make.

could you please add radioeins (rbb), Germany to the Naim Internet Radio directory?
I am using a Naim ND5 XS (legacy streamer) with firmware 4.9.40.
The station is currently not available under Germany.
Station: radioeins (rbb)
Location: Berlin/Brandenburg, Germany

I hear that Station about 40 years and can only play it on my Kirchen radio.

Hi

Is there an obvious reason why I get metadata listening to Rondo Klassu on my Muso 2, but not on my NDX2?

Would love to know the answer and if I can get the metadata on the NDX2?

Hi @Viklaman

I think on the Muso2 you’re using the lossy 320k stream and on the ndx2 using the Flac. The flac has no meta broadcast with it.
