Happy New Year!
As we enter 2026 it’s time for an update on the Naim Internet Radio service.
Everything has been running smoothly over Christmas and New Year. No dramas to report.
A few areas to note:
- Radioplay network, Finland - they changed their backend system in a subtle way which resulted in lost service for about 4 day while we negotiated things behind the scenes.
Listnr, Australia - updated with latest content + we did an artwork refresh - ICI Musique, Canada - 3 new web only music channels added. These are geoblocked to Canada only.
Otherwise, 460 stations updated, 52 new stations. We have a bit of admin on the system to do as December is the month a lot of stations close down and sometimes they don’t make it clear that they have really gone out of business. Over Jan/Feb we’ll flush them out the system once we have confidence they are out of business, rather than an IT failure.
