Happy Halloween All,
Thankfully no spookyness going on with the radio system, with all systems running as expected.
Some housekeeping has been going on over October on niche stations that really can’t decide if they are in business or not. Overall:
- 642 Stations deleted as haven’t broadcast for 3+ months. In countries like Brazil and Argentina they are constantly coming and going and flipping between different servers.
- 803 modified to keep them running as intended.
- 79 new stations added.
Some noteworthy changes:
- Listnr network, Australia - various new stations have been added.
- Heart, Australia - new radio brand playing classic hits. There are 3 stations covering different genres.
- Virgin Radio, UK. Have improved their stream quality to 128K AAC, from MP3. Also a new Christmas channel has popped up.
- Radio Mixtape, Germany. New Station with primary and various web only channels.
- Radio Regenbogen - synchronized to all their latest stations + station logos.
- Global radio (so Capital, Radio X, Smooth etc), UK have unleashed dedicated Christmas music channels across their network. Lucky us…
- Lomond Radio, UK now have a dedicated country channel. They too have threatened us with a Christmas channel but it hasn’t quite arrived yet.
Any questions, comments, issues, as ever do feel to rattle our cage in the Feedback & Requests thread that is pinned at the top of the streaming audio channel.
Best wishes
Steve
