First off a big hello to all the forum users. I am considering purchasing Naim Mu-so 2 and only have one question, I do not have home broadband and therefore always use my android smartphone Oneplus 8T as a hotspot which has served me really well for all my wi-fi needs, Without having the expense of getting home broadband will my smartphones hotspot connect to the Naim Mu-so 2 so I can access all its features.
It does need a WiFi link to set it up, I did both of mine wired, easy. I suppose any old WiFi will do. If you buy it from John Lewis you can send it back without grief if it fails.
It works fine from a phone hotspot, as long as there’s a strong, stable connection.
Thats a shame as my Laptop and Television connect to my mobile hotspot without any problem.
As above, it DOES work fine from a sufficiently robust hotspot
Two different answers. One says yes and one says no!
It will work, it just needs a stable WiFi signal. It is easier with cable.
