Naim Mu-so QB 2nd Gen stream to NAC-N 272 & 1st Gen QB?

I am thinking of getting a QB to go in my home office and maybe one for the kitchen. I know using the multiroom feature it is possible to stream from a 2nd Gen QB to 1st gen streamers but does that mean it’s possible to steam Qobuz at 24/192 quality (over Ethernet) from the 2nd Gen QB?

If yes then presumably I would only need one 2nd Gen QB in conjunction with the Naim control app to ‘supply’ a 1st Gen QB and the NAC-N 272 or is there a catch I’m missing?

I think so. Take a look here.

The chart tells you what formats can be used in order to create a multiroom stream to other streamers, but as I understand it, they are downsampled to a lossy format to be sent to multiroom clients in order to reduce the load on the network. I believe MP3 was used on the 1st gen streamers, not sure about 2nd gen but possibly the same.

Thanks!
