On powering NAC32.5 and NAP140, I get humming sound from both channel. Even at zero volume the humming sound is there. What could be the problem?
Is this with no source connected?
Yes no source connected. Can I disconnect snaic cable which connects pre and power amp and then see if there is still humming sound?
Never disconnect a SNAIC when connected to kit that’s powered up. Always power down first and wait for the caps to discharge. However, it would be a good idea to check the continuity of the SNAIC to see if the common ground is still connected at both ends.
