52 was designed to go with 135 whilst 82 with 250. It makes sense you said ‘not a clear cut between 52 and 82’, because a 52 is performance limited by the bandwidth of a single 250, whilst 82 is the perfect fit to 250.

I don’t have the room for two 135’s without changing the whole rack and so will live with my 52/Supercap/250, Darran at Class A did have a pair of 135’s recently for sale but I decided I didn’t have the room or budget to buy them. Maybe someday in the future, who knows.

I’d have to sell the supercap first and possibly my 72 which I was hoping to keep for a second system. I’ll keep looking for a 52 for a while while I increase the fund pot as buying a SC/52 combo would take some saving for. Got a couple of leads for a 52 but slow on getting back to me, we’ll see how it goes. Nearly bought a couple of 135’s last week but was a little short of the asking price and seller wouldn’t wiggle enough with the price to bring them into my offer range.
