Naim Nait 1 chrome bumper in front but not in the back.Normal?

Hi Naim members and music lovers,I have 2 questions:

  1. I have both a Nait 1 and Nait 2 that are chrome bumper on one side and olive on the other.
    In other words,my chrome pumper Nait 1 has chrome in the front,but olive/black in the back.
    My Nait 2 is the opposite; olive in front,and chrome in the back. I have 2 other Naits(1 and 2),
    that are of “normal”.
    Does anyone have a Naim amp like that and do you know why that is?
  2. I will service one of my Nait 1’s soon. Will the servicing/recap keep the balance control knob the original “quirky” way? Or will they change it like a normal balance control? And will they put the reversed tuner output to a normal left and right channels? Thanks

All Nait 1 are CB front and black rear originally.
The first Nait 2 are CB front and black rear. Later Nait 2 were black front and rear. Naim started with black boxes around serial number 55154 acording to a user on a bright colour forum.

Really? Like I said,I have 2 Nait 1’s and 2 Nait 2’s(both Olive from 1990 and 91 with small wheels,not tractor wheels),but 1 of the Nait 1’s is chrome in the front AND back. Strange. And I guess the other Nait 2 I have has a casing from a 1 instead of 2. Interesting.
