Hi everyone,
I’m looking to pair a Naim NAIT 50 with a set of ProAc Tablette 10s.
Currently, I’m using an old Mission Cyrus One, which actually sounds pretty good. I also had the chance to try a Copland CSA 100, which was obviously a huge step up. Before making a decision, I really want to try the NAIT 50 + Tablette 10 pairing.
Does anyone here currently run this combination or have experience with it? I’d love to hear your thoughts on how they synergy-wise!
Had both but not together. The tablettes with a lavardin IS was an amazing combo, so so musical. Given I personally find the Nait to be similar, and in many ways better than the Lavardin I think the combo will be excellent.
I’ve had this combo for a while.
It’s a wonderful combo! Easy to drive, easy to place (close to a backwall),look good, nicely finished, a lovely open/transprarent midrange and clear, detailed and sparkling treble. Perhaps a bit thin in the bass department, but what is there is very fast and controlled. (probably due to the sealed cabinet)
Despite my very positive experience with the Nait 50 & Proac Tab10’s, if I’d have to name one minor downside, it would be that in my system the Dali Sonik 1’s offered about 80/90% of the Tab10(signature!) performance for a fraction of the price. So, although wonderful speakers in many ways, imho they’re a bit too expensive. (s/h or as a demo-pair with a nice discount though, I’d say go for it)

NAIT50 + T10s is a great combo.
I used it just before I buy a NOVA PE.
The best sound in the T10s I can hear was with a combo 72+300.
The 300 is for me, the best amp ever made.
I picked up the Nait 50 this morning and hooked it up to my Tablette 10s. Right out of the box, the sound is impressive—especially the mids and highs! I’m hoping the bass opens up and goes a bit deeper over time. The speakers are currently on stands, placed about 20cm off the back wall.
That’s good to hear!

The Tab10’s bass is a bit on the thin side imho, but I got used to it after a while, and it didn’t really bother me. (if possible perhaps moving the Tab’s a little closer to the back wall might give it a bit more body)
(btw…your Nait 50 & Tab10’s combo calls for a nice systempic!
)
I’m testing them right now with the speakers 10 cm from the back wall, and the bass is definitely better! I’m using Tellurium Q Blue speaker cables, which work fine—so no need for the 2 x 3.5m NAC A5 after all! ![]()
I used mine 9cm from the wall with tiniest bit of toe-in; driven by a Supernait 3 they were excellent.
I’ve heard a few Tablettes over the years and have owned a pair of 1scs for 26 years. They seem to respond to more powerful and better amps. Some little Proacs are on the end of some very serious systems from the reading I have done over the years.
Great combo but benefits from a fast sub
I use my Nait50 and Chord HugoTT2 into a Tab 10 Signature and it sounds outstanding at my house.

The obvious place would be to get in touch with your Naim dealer
I think the ones you mention are indeed the Ovator banana plugs Richard, but the one Amaksimovic is mentioning are the ones that come with the Nait 50.
Nevertheless, I think asking a Naim dealer would be the best place to start.
My Tablette 10 Signatures are on the end of a Klimax LP12, SuperLine/SuperCap, 552DR / 300DR and, apart from a lack of deep bass, are in no way embarrassed in that company.
Ah, yes, thanks Alco. You are correct, they are slightly different - I will edit. In which case, ask the dealer.
You should have got 2 in the box plugged into the rear of the Nait 50!
Very sloppy when the box was packed. I assume they are 2nd hand?
I got two the same handing, so the + and - markings are wrong on one. I got told I could turn one upside down (but the cable would go upwards)
. Just used standard banana plugs instead
