Uh-huh, thank you for your idea. I think it makes a lot of sense and has value. Thank you. I’ve decided to try it out in various ways as you suggested.".
Furthermore, I’ve realized that I’ve truly fallen in love with the sound quality and tuning direction of Proac speakers. They are more refined and delicate than Spendor. I predict that if I upgrade my speakers in the future, I will consider Proac’s better models. The charming and delicate tuning direction of Proac is so pleasing to the ear
The tuning direction of “spendor” sounds more honest and straightforward compared to others, exuding a gentle and sincere feeling
Thank you for reminding me. It’s a BNC to RCA adapter, so the sound quality should be compromised. Thank you for reminding me. I’m only using this strange, old, DIY, second-hand cable because I didn’t spend any money on it.
Thank you for reminding and guiding me. If I get the chance again, I plan to buy a reliable and authentic coaxial cable to try
There are reports of looms from Nordost of military grade cables in helicopters that cost £.5 millions
Oh my god, Nordost actually makes military cables, and they are so expensive. I’m almost certain this is a fake Nordost
After a week of careful experience and listening, I am now absolutely certain that I deeply love the vibrant, delicate, and even ethereal tone of the 5si-driven T10 Signature Edition. I will definitely follow your advice and not change the setup of this 5si-driven T10 Signature Edition
Thank you for reinforcing my decision. Initially, I had planned to take the T10 Signature Edition to the next level by replacing the 5si power amplifier with a well-conditioned Supernait for an upgrade. Now, I am prepared to continue using the 5si power amplifier as it is. I suspect that upgrading the 5si power amplifier with a Supernait would result in more power, improved detail, layering, thickness, and other qualities. However, in terms of compactness and agility, the 5si may have an advantage over the Supernait. And agility is my favorite trait of the T10 Signature Edition. Therefore, I am not considering upgrading the 5si power amplifier to a Supernait or 250 power amplifier. For this system featuring the 5si T10 Signature Edition and Lavry DA11, I am sticking to the current setup. Thank you again for your advice and information. Thank you
In terms of dexterity, liveliness, and agility, I guess the 5si will be even better than the supernait or even the 250 rear-level
Oh my, I saw you mention that you’re using a 5si to drive a 3/5 speaker. It must be the LS 3/5A, right? It’s my favorite speaker with its legendary mid-range tone, which perfectly captures the beauty of vocals and string instruments. And the 3/5 should be even harder to drive well than the T10. This gives me even more confidence that my 5si amplifier is actually driving my T10 speaker very well. Thank you for sharing your configuration and experience, which gives me a solid grasp and confidence
Your friend’s comments are very , a loose cable which has been connected to non - Nordost fittings.
As long as it sounds good , I wouldn’t worry.
Spendor 3/5. The latest version, which was followed by 4/5. A gorgeous little devil, which pulled me into thee vocal listening.
The only issue I had was the listening position in my room. 3/5 works great at close range, which is exactly they were designed for.
Unfortunately, my room and listening position do not comply with this point.
I felt gobsmacked when I realized this thing.
Luckily, 3/1 helped.
At the moment of writing I can not explain the shift from 5si to Moonriver, except the “improvement” desire
I found out that your upgraded 5-si Moonriver amplifier is from a high-end brand in Sweden, which must be a comprehensive and excellent performance compared to the 5-si. I don’t know if the music sense performance is even better, but the 5-si is good at being light, agile, dynamic, and elegant, which is also more convenient
I seem to have found that entry-level British amplifiers, especially the 5si, perform the best at the entry-level price point. Compared to the price, traditional British HIFi equipment manufacturers are particularly adept at designing and manufacturing such low-priced entry-level devices, giving them excellent music sense and musicality
I fell in love with Naim’s understanding and expression of music through the tuning of Nait 5si
As I said, I can not fully understand my decision to upgrade from 5si
Not sure if would upgrade once again. The downgrade path does not have any significant money saving, so, I stay as is. To me, the difference is very close, about negligible.
en en ,i see what‘s u mean , ye 。thank u. :)
I confess to not reading the entire thread carefully - just skipped through it. But two observations I would make. Firstly the Spendors are a very different speaker to the T10’s and will give you a completely different sound. Secondly I wouldn’t personally use Audioquest, and especially Nordost cables with Naim. Revert to standard Naim cables / Powerlines.
