Hi my Nait XS2 was constantly going into “soak” mode when it was switched on. I stopped this by switching off and restarting holding down the mute button at the same time. However it starts with the mute button flashing. When I cancel the mute all function buttons go off and the amp doesn’t function.
Any ideas?

I do not know if it is true for the Nait XS2 but a mute button flashing on start up on some Naim pre amps can indicate either a power issue (ie an external power supply not switched on but a NAPSC running the logic) or a connection issue in one of the interconnects.
It may be worth unplugging everything and seeing if it still happens and if not then plug in one at a time to try and find the culprit.
