Naim Nova PE or Naim separates?

So what you’re saying is that I should keep my mouth shut if I have an opinion of my own? Especially if not aligning with yours?

Why shouldn’t I recommend based on my opinion? We’re on a forum, people have different opinions.

I don’t actually have any opinion on the Nova PE - nor class D amps, nor am I a Naim “fanboy”, rather having an open mind, but what I do dislike is propagation of unfounded prejudice

Edit: I gave deleted my second paragraph in this post because it was a response to another member’s post that has since been removed,

I see the Nova PE is currently on offer at a £2,100 discount at £6,500.

It’s even cheaper on some other sites if you don’t mind ex demo will full warranty🙂

In Nova PE I trust

(and Nait50)

I agree with you, and you cant just say “class D” sounds bad, it is up to the implementation like on any other amp.

I have a class D with 800kHz switching frequency which allows the amp to have a simple LC filter with fine components giving linear phase DC - 30kHz. Also the pulse-depth modulation (PDM) is performed completely in the analog domain rather than with some cheaper digital modulation technique using FPGAs, DSPs, etc. (the keyword here is “cheaper” and not that it is done with a FPGA or in digital).

Nova + Harbeth 30.2 XD + Tonträger stand is a perfect combo
