That’s all great and makes sense about why 2m is chosen , but that strengthens the thought that when each product is developed and voiced tweaked before a listening panel ,it’s going to plugged in to a situation most resembling a typical , domestic current regulation set up . So that what they hear is what we hear , excluding room effects.
The cable used in the powerline is a fairly conventional decent cable. I doubt any change to electrical characteristics from variations of length, it’s not going to half impedance going 2 to 1 metre.
Unlike some other boutique power cables that utilise silver, gold, nano diamonds and other expensive - exotic means to add something to the music.
