Naim sweet spot

A superb motto, though for most what’s not broken is replaced for improvement in sound and features, for example, early likes vs modern likes of preference.

Second that!

The Supernait original MkI has digital inputs 2 x coaxial and 2 x optical as well as 4 or 5 analogue inputs so it can be used as a living room amplifier using optical out from TV from a 2 channel HDMI source. Can also be used with a CD player as a transport using digital out to use the DAC of the Supernait. No inbuilt phono stage but input 5 can power a stageline phono box. The later MkII model has analogue inputs only and the MkII has a built in MM phono stage.
