On the Naim Uniti Core, there are 3 folders inside the Music folder : These are named LQ, MQ, and HQ.
I just wonder what the purpose of the LQ and HQ folders is, as they don’t seem to be used by the App?
These are vestigial features inherited from the older generation of Naim servers, which had a use for the LQ folder, but even back then HQ was never used.
CD rips go into the MQ folder. The others can just be ignored.

LQ was for storing MP3 versions of the files, which were automatically generated by Naim devices such as the Naim HDX.

MQ - CD quality
HQ - Anything higher than CD quality
