Naim Uniti Nova doesn't sound especially good

I wouldn’t accept a product in that condition if it was sold as new. Talk to your retailer, or to Chord.

I also had a Nova and this sound very good from the beginning. Now he has moved to the home office.

First I would look for the right phase

The speaker cables are not swapped. Sorry.

Hi,

I determined the phases using the Oehlbach phase tester.

Even more important is my Dynavox HiFi mains filter X4100S, which also has an LED indicator light for correct phase alignment. Plus, the phase is marked for each socket.

Regards…

I’d try it with out the mains filter as a comparison, as that could be beneficial or counter productive.

I’ve already tried that, Nova sounds better filtered (especially in the midrange).

The subwoofer is connected unfiltered. And the bass output is precise and optimal.

??? Really ?

For me yes. Why?

Because the Nova is a music machine, and before you start filtering, you need to focus on the music source you’re feeding it.

But hey, that’s just MY opinion.

As a general rule, mains filtering is discouraged by Naim and others on this Forum, however everyones Mains has different issues, and so it isn’t a hard and fast rule - Try it and see is the basic philosophy.
