Naim V1 DAC into a Nait 1 - anything to watch out for?

I plan to use some Rothwell 10db attenuators (source out) on the back of the DAC to compensate for that

For best performance Attenuators are best avoided if possible.

10dB is not enough
As I said, mine are 15dB, but that is only just enough.

Attenuators are best avoided because most brands use rubbish resisters. That’s why I made my own using top end 1% components

Points noted, I’ve used them before with good results but we’ll see……I still have the option of using the volume control of the V1 DAC, in addition to the control afforded by the Audirvāna Studio

A quick question - I want to use the Tape input in the Nait 1 just as another input - but not to connect a tape player as such.

Can I use a normal 2 RCA to 5 pin Din lead ?

Many thanks

Yes - as an input, it’s the same pin configuration as the Tuner input so can be used the same way and with the same cable.

Thanks
