Naim XS turns off automatically

Since a couple of months I own a Naim XS (2nd batch with brushed front). Very happy with the amp!

Last weeks I was not listening to music a lot. I always have the power on. Today I noticed that the logo light was still on, but there was no sound. There was also nothing happening when I pushed the buttons. Turned the XS off and on and afterwards it was back alive!

Is this some kind of auto lock-down mode, or does this mean some parts in my XS might need replacement?

I wonder whether you may have had a brief momentary power out that locked up the control logic. A power cycle should clear it - as you have found. It shouldn’t cause any lasting damage.
