Had my original Nait XS for the last 13 years. Noticed a strange hum from the speakers this afternoon and a flashing mute button. More strange “mewing” sounds when powering down. Pushed and held the mute bottom and now all lights are off except the Naim logo. Manual says flashing mute button is the power supply, anyone else suffered the same?
I wonder whether one of the caps has failed. At 13 years it’s due for a service now anyway. @Neils might have an idea here.

That would certainly be the most likely cause Richard, I’ve not however, seen one fail in this manor though.
