Hi I have a nait 5i up upto recently the input selector would freeze and wouldn’t allow to change input so had to turn it off and on to change input now when I select av input the volume light goes out and get buzzing through the speakers
That sounds like you have unity gain enabled on the AV input.
Is there a way of checking on the amp
You could take it in to a Naim dealer and ask them to check it over or send it back to Naim.
However, you should be able to take the AV input out of Unity Gain (manual give you full instructions).
What do you have connected to the NAIT 5i? Any TV set nearby when the input selection freezes?
I just have my turntable ,cd player, Cambridge audio dab radio and cassette player the tv is quite a distance away from the hifi
