I’ve looked at threads can’t find answer,
Can I use a napsc 2 on a 82?

Yes you can.

Thank you,
I was 99% sure,
But Had to check

@robert_h
Thanks for link,
I never found that

Indeed, I have a NAPSC 2 on my 82.

Logic would therefore suggest that even a very old Olive NAPSC would be fine to power an OC Headline I’ve just acquired?
It will get little use and I’m not bothered about the aesthetics.

Indeed it will. Again I have done just that in the past. I have an olive Headline and a black Headline, and over the years I have ended up with two NAPSC and two NAPSC 2…….so I’ve tried all the combinations (including running the olive Headline from an olive Flatcap)

Currently I run my olive Headline from an olive Hicap driving Sennheiser 650 and the black Headline from a NAPSC 2 driving Sennheiser 800S.

(No worries .. just wondered, as I’d considered that a fairly standard setup).

Thanks for the info.
I’m not really a headphone listener as I’m lucky enough to have my ‘musical man cave’ as SWMBO calls it.
Need a PSU to get the Headline working on the off chance that it’s needed. It’s just an expensive bookend at the moment.
So if I find a cheap Olive NAPSC or even an i-Supply that will do.

Don’t forget you’ll need a “SLIC” to connect to a FC, HC or SC. The SLIC has a DIN connector at the PSU end, and the requisite 2 pin connector at the Headline end)

The NAPSC comes with an integral secondary supply cable which is terminated with the requisite 2 pin connector. No further adaptation needed.

The i-Supply also comes with an integral supply cable, but is terminated with a DIN connector; therefore you’ll also need an adaptor (DIN to 2 pin).
