I know that this is a old/frequent issue. I’ve read all the past forum, but nothing worked. I connected my SN3 to ND5 XS 2 streamer and they work together… in a great way. I 've downloaded and used the a naim app and everything has been fine: I can do everything and setting the volume via app. BUT the remote control doesn’t work. I’ve pressed the pre button on it, I’ve checked all the settings on the Naim app, I connected the two elements trying with 3 different cables, but I can’t use my remote to change source, display lightness and of course the volume. Could you please give me an hand? Otherwise I think that the remote is broken…and I’ll check it up with assistance. best and thanks in advance. f

Check that the volume knob has not got pushed in too far into the fascia and got jammed up.
Put your ear close to the Supernait - when you operate the volume can you hear anything from the pot motor?
HI there! The Knob wors perfectly when I move by hand or using the Naim app.
The volume should operate regardless of the softkey setting, so it seems most likely the remote handset has a problem. Do you have another suitable RC5 handset you could use to check?
Hi Richard, I made another test: with smartphone camera, I focus on the TV remote and I saw the lightning of command. Did the same operatin with the RC5 and nothing happened, since the battery are full charged. So it’s a remote problem, it doesn’t work. Now I have to understand why, since it was always kept in a safe place. All the best
