It has gotten kind of absurd. I was amazed a few years back when my nephew called, and we were able to get tix to see Macca at a basketball arena in Columbia, SC for $103 each - decent enough seats with a good view, and the acoustics weren’t even bad.
Then I wanted to see Billy Joel here in Charlotte, and it was going to be about $150 to sit in the upper deck behind the stage in the corner. NFW.
