Can anyone tell me if the power cord supplied as standard with the ND5 xs2 box is of good quality or if it is worth replacing it with a better one (eg nordost, etc.)

If you look at the Naim website it is supplied with a Poer Line Lite mains cable which is a good cable.
Only in the UK though.
I know, it costs a lot for my set up. I would like to spend up to € 200.
Save your money & keep the Naim cable. A €200 replacement will not be any better

The dealer offered me a Nordost red down (2 meters states that it is better than 1) but asks 380 €. I already have a blue haven nordost in my Nait5si amplifier and I have listened to some differences. What do you advise me about other brands? An English retailer advised me on an Ecosse big red.!
