ND5 xs2

Hello,
I have a silly question, just got a ND5 xs2 and would like to connect it to my Mytek Brooklyn DAC plus, I know I can only use BNC but I currently don’t have any, what I do have is a nice USB from Network Acoustics that I would like to use, is there a way that I can? Is there such a Bnc to usb adapter?
If not, please recommend a BNC cable that won’t break the bank! :bank: strong text
Thank you.

Biased opinion but Naim makes the DC1 cable which is fantastic. I use one from my ND5XS2

I have a DC1 from streamer to nDAC; it works.

I also have an equivalent Amazon Basics; that works as well.

If you are in the UK I would recommend a Mark Grant HDX1. I sold my Naim DC1 because I could get one of these that was the right length, cost about a tenth of the price and sounded just as good.

Also using the Mark Grant which cost £32 including postage for a 1.5 metre length, BNC to BNC. It’s extremely well made and came really quickly.

Mark Grant HDX1 (buy direct) or Gotham cables (via certain auction site) are known entities here at ca £30.

There are 75Ohm BNC to BNC cables on amazon for under a tenner, mostly Chinese brands

Higher priced, Chord Clearway, Shawline, Epic

Or stick to Naim DC1

Dont bother with adaptors, get a BNC cable as suggested above.

I’ve tried to contact Mark Grant, no luck so far…

I placed an order for a HDX1 with Mark online yesterday, dispatched same day

Hello! I bought a couple of BNC adapters to use with my coax cable, after installing the connectors I get no sound at all from my DAC, I’ve switched out to BNC out in the Naim app and connected it to BNC out to BNC in on my Mytek, any suggestions?

Thanks!

BNC adaptors can be bad news here and may well be the cause of the lack of any sound.

I just ordered a cheap 75 ohm BNC cable from Amazon and it works great for between my NDX and nDAC.
