I am considering an ND555 and I have a Roon Nucleus+. Can I just connect the ND555 to the network and run Roon? There was some talk I found online about using a Melco. Is that because it sounds better or buggy issues? Thanks.
Yes you can just connect a Nucleus+ to your network and use it with a ND555. I do the same thing, except I have a NDX2 and run Roon ROCK on an Intel NUC (which is – for all intents and purposes – the same as a Nucleus+).

The Nucleus+ is working just fine with my ND555. The sound quality is just fine and the interface much better than the Naim app in my opinion. The audio performance is very good, but a good external power supply lifts it even further. I have the Paul Jacobs/Custom Hifi Cables DC3, which I recommend very strongly.
