Hi quick one is it possible to switch off the display artwork when music is playing…is there a function where it will dim after a number of seconds???
Yes…….other settings……display……on or off. If you have the new beta this is not working properly and needs to be enabled each session. Will be fixed for release.

I almost never turn it off. Other than to extend the lifespan of the display is there any reason to turn it off?
Conversely, is there any reason to have it on at all? The ND5XS2 has no display and works perfectly well.

I like to listen in a darkened room (I usually have my listening sessions in the evening)…as my room is small … when the display is lit all the time it seems pretty bright…and is needlessly distracting… during the day its ok…

I live in hope that the display controls will be moved to the remote, the current arrangement is seriously cr*p. A simple 3 way toggle on the existing remote display button please - On with album art, On with Album Info, Off. All latching. It’s nearly there already - just need to add the Off status and make them all latch.
