I have a problem with software updating via the Focal&Naim control app. If I check for updates for my ND555 it tells me I’m on 3.11.0 and ‘Firmware is up to date’ but we know that’s not true don’t we..
Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
I have a Truespeed FTTH box and a Truespeed (Zyxel) router with a BT Whole Home, 4 dish mesh system supplying the WiFi ( The Truespeed WiFi is turned off)
Hard reset ?
I’m sure you will already have tried this but just a simple complete power down, and restart of the ND 555? If that hasn’t worked, then a hard reset as FR has suggested .
I’ve had the same problem with my NSC 222 and it took Naim Support providing me with the upgrade file and doing a manual update to get the update done. Even after that the streamer still can’t connect to the update server so Naim Support has told me the software team are looking in to it. No amount of powering down or resets made any difference

@elverdiblanco this sounds exactly like mine. It’s not the first time I’ve had issues updating. I also spoke to Naim when going from 3.10 to 3.11 and they sent me a file. TBH I don’t recall now exactly the process. I’d be really interested if Naim Support come back to you with helpful answers. 
I thought you would probably have already tried that. 
Hope you get it sorted as 3.12 definitely improves on 3.11. Fingers crossed for a good result 
So, eventually I got there and now sitting and happily listening to 3.13.0 on my ND555!
Having tried so many things, I found that by disconnecting the hard wire Ethernet cable and setting the ND555 to WiFi mode instead finally allowed me to connect to Naim’s firmware update server and we jumped from 3.11 to 3.13 in one hit ( though it took a while, so I suspect it maybe uploaded 3.12 first then 3.13 as part of the process?)
Initial impressions of SQ are very positive, so maybe the ND will see some use now. It’s been all LP12 for quite some time here…
