My ND5XS2 is crashing sometimes. It does n’t happen very often (maybe once every one or two weeks), but it is somewhat annoying. The weird thing is that the streamer is playing music normally, but than suddenly the app is unable to connect. After a while, the music also stops playing. Going in- and out of standby does n’t help. The only thing that helps is powering down and -up again. Others also experiencing this? I do n’t think this ever happened before FW 3.10.x. Maybe a bug of some sort.
I have that once a week. I restart the router then the streamer.
Haha. Thought it was just me with my new-to-me ND5 XS2. The app couldn’t find it this morning despite a green LED. I turned it off/on, no luck. I pulled the mains plug, waited 2 minutes, replugged it, powered it up, and the app now finds it.
The ND5 XS2 is feeling flaky compared to the NDX2 on the same network.
Oh well, at least I am not the only one

I never experience this. Audirvāna sometimes has it’s quirky behaviour but my ND5 XS 2 is never crashing.
Just curious: in my set up the ND5 XS 2 is connected to the network by cable. Are you ising WiFi or cable?

Have you tried a cable? Or isn’t that feasible?
A cable works. But thats the benefit of wifi. No cable, one less thing to plug in. That should work the same as a cable. Does on my ndx2, TV, pretty much everyting thing else in my house.
Except nd5 xs2 and a Muso 2 that was avright PIatA, so sold it. Again, that luved about 1M from the router/WAP, but didnt like Wifi.

I am on WiFi, but an Ethernet cable is not really an option.
It would be worth the try to see if a cable connection gives the same problem. If it doesn’t have the issue then the problem lies probably in the network connection over WiFi. If it also has the issue with cable, then the search will be a lot harder.
