These might be dumb questions, but nevertheless…
I love the sound of my ND5XS2 via WiFi.
Now, I decided to switch off the WiFi from 0.00 to 6.00 am.
Will there be any disadvantages for the streamer?
Will he search then the whole night for the WiFi or will he peacefully give up and rest until it’s back in the morning?

All devices that lose WiFi connection will constantly look for it. That’s why when the WiFi comes back on they are reconnected almost straightaway.

Is this good or bad for the streamer?
It’s a device same as a computer or mobile phone. There will be a background process running looking for a network connection. If that bothers you, put it in sleep mode.

If you put it in ‘network standby’ mode it will still be discoverable, so it must still be looking for a network. You would need to use ‘deep sleep’ mode to avoid this.

There is however no real reason for having to avoid it. You probably don’t turn the wifi off on your phone either
