Hi, wondered if anyone else has upgraded from original NDX to ND5XS2 (or NDX2) whilst keeping the same external dac? I am using a Qutest from NDX and Qobuz via a NAS and Bubble upnp. Just wondering whether the transport is sufficiently better to make the sound quality worth upgrading for. Thanks!
Hi, I used my NDX with a Mk1 Hugo, then Chord Dave. I upgraded to NDX2 and found quite a large improvement in sound quality. When used with an external DAC I found the ND5XS2 to sound just as good as and NDX2, although I bought the NDX2 anyway as me dealer offered me one at a price I couldn’t refuse.
