NDX2 Bluetooth connection interrupting the optical input

I have a CD Player streaming to one of the optical connections, but every minute or so that connection is cut off by the Bluetooth. I have tried to disable it, but it keeps coming back.

This is simply not good! Has anyone got the same problem? Any solutions.

I have done all the updates on the NDX and the App.

I have tried all the options on my app but no success.

Thank you all

Do you know, which device is connecting to the NDX2? Is it your phone, or another device?

I’d suggest to:

  • Switch-off pairing for the Bluetooth input. (The input needs to be active to do so.)
  • Switch-off the Bluetooth input itself.
  • Actively disconnect / unpair any device (phone or other) paired with the NDX2.
This could possibly mean to “forget” the pairing or “ignore” the NDX2.

The NDX2 should not switch “just so”, unless another devices (or the app, …) tries to activate the input.
If it switches “just so”, a “reboot” may help. (If it’s “confused”.)

If the problem persists beyond these options, contact Naim support. (In theory, there could be a fault with the unit, software, or configuration.)

Thank you. I’ll try

Hi, I have followed your advice. Using the remote and not the app to disable the bluetooth seems to have worked. Thanks a lot!
