NDX2 Remote keeps dropping pairing

The pairing of my remote to NDX2 seems to last about a week! Now it doesn’t seem to pair at all. Any thoughts anyone?

I’m sincerely hoping not as that would mean they were duds from the off. Will be checked. NDX2 is only 8 months old.
