Hi my system Ndx2 555dr, 252, 300 dr amp ovator400 dedicated power supply
I have recently replaced a CDs 3 with the Ndx2. I cannot believe how good the ndx is, I cannot fault it, streaming is the best upgrade I have ever done

Glad you are enjoying it… if you like me are actually increasing the number of CDs you buy at present… you may want to get a CD transport… as ripping CDs each time before you listen can be a pain. And music magazine CDs from people like Mojo don’t have the meta data available for ripping until a little time after publication.
Yes the NDX2 is a cracking streamer… I use mine as a digital audio streamer into a DAVE and I love it.
I replaced my much loved 2004 CDS3 with the NDX2/555 and also have not looked back. Fear of the mech breaking etc forced my hand but I remain thrilled with it.

Nice system. Important question though, have you recently checked the torque settings of your S400s?
If you haven’t had a chance, worthwhile doing so, you will find a nice improvement. Threads available on here, so search is your friend.
Ensure you also check the torque on the base (crossover location). Factor in that your S400s are unfortunately now at least ten years old. Much older and worth a crossover service.
In the uk Wilmslow audio have just done a pair here and a second pair is booked in; thoroughly recommended.
