Thanks, I think it’s safe to assume that I won’t stop there, but all I need for the time being is that same sense of pace and flow that the atom gave. From the reviews it sounds like the 5si will at least deliver that. I think I read somewhere, if I’m not mistaken, that the atom amplification is based on the 5si tech. Not sure. Anyway, it’s a great feeling to finally have an NDX2 after saving for months. Now I don’t have to worry about a source for a good while.
The NDX2 is really good. I used it with my old XPS2 and now 555DR. What I like is the lack of digital ‘glare’ without it sounding bland. It has given my Linn a run for its money. I still prefer the Linn but the ND gets more use for a variety of reasons. Enjoy it, especially as you got a bit of a bargain!
