Yes and no, I have moved on to Kudos Titan 808’s now and they give you something extra.
However, there is still a part of me that will always miss the top end of the SL2’s.

Naim has a magic sound but weak Bass
That’s rather a sweeping statement to make!
DBL’s certainly don’t have weak bass and NBL’s I would not describe as weak bass either.
Naim amplifiers also are not weak bass, it very much depends on what the electronics are paired with.
I mean sbl and sl2
although many would argue they have plenty of tight, controlled bass ![]()
That’s the beauty of the hi-fi world, everyone has their own opinion ![]()
I wanted a speaker that had a much bigger soundstage and more presence in a bigger room. The Neats were perfect for that.
That’s why I switched to Kudos Titan 808’s, although I’m currently enjoying having NBL’s back in the system !!
@Meni @Polarbear I’d love to get a fully loaded Vertere RG, Statement and XL10s and 808s together for comparison!
Now back to NBL? How many speakers do you have?
I have Kudos Titan 808’s which “replaced” my NBL’s although I kept my NBL’s in their boxes.
Although I have other systems with n-Sats, Royd The Minstrel SE, and in Australia Neat Momentum SX5i’s on my NC300 system
I didn’t realise that Neat have discontinued the Ultimatum range. Times change ![]()
