New App Party Mode broken

New app, running on Android.Party mode to MuSo Gen Ones now doesn’t work.

Created an account and logged in just in case..

Tried calling support, seems the whole company is closed for training today, hope it’s fun.. back to one speaker :frowning:

Luckily I have the previous version of the app on another Android device, which is no set to do not update.

Now I can use all my speakers..

Fix please Naim support ?

FYI Naim Support App version 7.5 (11565500) on Android works fine (I have a device with a previous version)

I can select Party Mode and then oddly from the new app (8.0 1396800) control the speakers.

If I disconnect all the new App doesn’t let me.

It seems to be the initial connection that doesn’t work with the new version

Support staff don’t routinely monitor the forum so your best course of action here is to email or phone them about the issue and lodge a support ticket.

Party mode not working for me either on my Muso and QB, both 1st gen devices.

Just tried Party Mode from my Atom and both my 1st gen units (Muso & QB) work as slave units. Looks to me like the issue is with the 1st gen units operating in master mode.

Ahh the perils of all auto update, of course the new version is always better. :man_shrugging:t4:

Support ticket created via email so will update here when they fix it.

As per @Richard.Dane just sent and email to support detailing my issues.

Like others second generation to first generation works, so supposedly it is first generation master to X device that fails.

I’ve emailed Naim support. They have confirmed it’s an issue they are aware of and are working on a fix.
