At the moment all stable and working properly here on NDX2 and 3.5.1, with an astonishing SQ. Fingers crossing, .
I have had the same issues as 3.5 stuck screen. Had to power off to clear it. Unit failed to come back properly it was locked up, no network, remote control l, front panel locked up with a flashing power light. Took 5 yes five complete unplug and power on again to get it back up.
Iāve updated the Nova, looks like Iāll be keeping the NDX2 as it isā¦
CG, that may indicate some other issue at play. I suggest letting Naim tech support know either way, to be sure.
I fear this to I am currently a beta tester and have left feedback on there as its the same as the release version. As it happend with 3.5 it does make me think itās hardware related.
What is Naims warranty period 2 or 3 years?

Says 2 on the website expanded to 3 if you register it within 6 months. I did that with my first unit when I bought it in Jan 2018, but it got replaced directly from Naim in July 2018 due to firmware and sq issues. I donāt think I registered the new unit. Would my initial warranty of 3 years still be valid then?
I would talk to Naim support, or get your dealer to do so. I think you will find they will want to be helpful, regardless of whether you ever registered the replacement unit.

3.5.1 bummer. I upgraded without issue. However after about 2 hours of listening, my NDX2 went silent. No output. It otherwise seemed to be operating normally. I tried a reboot, unplugged the power, and a reload of firmware (from an earlier version of 3.3 I had saved from a Naim test). Reloaded 3.5.1 - still no output. I had to do a hard power on unit reset. All seems to be working again.
Iām perplexed why the NDX2 worked for a few hours after the initial 3.5.1 upgrade. Happy a hard reset resolved the issue. Now to reload my iRadio stationsā¦
Considering the above, I suppose the 3.5.1 release didnāt solve all the issues introduced with release 3.5.0

It appears Iām in the minority.
Update went flawlessly. The problem with multiple displays of some albums in my albums list has resolved. Everything sounds good. No dropouts.

After running flawlessly for a week on 3.5.1, the screen of my Nova froze and went black.
Disappointed but not surprised.
Extended warranty via product registration is only available to UK & Ireland customersā¦ I just found this outā¦
At least in Germany thereās a registration process with the local distributor as well. (Also offering up to 5 years extended support.)
A slightly Weird experience here installing new firmware.
Checked for software updates in Naim App settings.
New version available.
Clicked on install.
App searched for devices/rooms, but Unable to connect.
Several retries, same result.
No way to get out of this loop, so I have to close the App and start again.
Reopen App and try the process again, but checking for updates this time tells me Iām up to date and on version 3.5.1.
Now concerned that although itās updated, did it do it properly given the interruption?
It appears to function fine. Not sure about SQ.

After previous experience with a Nova I always switch off, unplug and leave for a decent amount of time after an update.
Iāve not experienced problems with the NDX2 since following this procedure after an update. Probably tempted fate now Iāve posted this!
The app canāt connect while the device is updating. So you should just wait until itās finished before trying to find it in the app. If it says itās on the version 3.5.1 then it is. You could do a factory reset if you want to be certain that all is ok.
