I know it is unlikely, but I just went to order some standard sized Fraim legs from Cymbiosis and they no longer list them. Tom Tom Audio the same and they always have them. New Fraim model on the way??!?!? Discuss (not argue )
A lack of stock at Naim could explain this ….
That’s certainly the more likely option but much less interesting, I wonder what naim could do to improve the frame. I don’t own it but from what I’ve heard it’s obviously a very well constructed product.
F.Y.I. I got standard-size legs from Tom Tom Audio a couple of months back, as they were roughly half the usual price. The longer lengths were still the normal price.
So, along with your question, was there a sudden reason for this price drop?
A Fraim that covers up all the wires.
Still listed with other dealers though.
No doubt you have afforded the two dealers you have highlighted for not stocking the items you require, to respond to a direct enquiry as to why or even as to whether there is a logical reason.
That would seem to be a better approach than trolling idle speculation.
As @IanRobertM suggests, there could be one or even more reasons.
Btw if you don’t wish for an argument, then best not to create such a thread imho.
An informative versus speculative thread is soooo…much more interesting and informative…minus an agenda.
I don’t think so.
I would love to see a new more streamlined version but doubt there’s anything in the works. I liked the looks of the Fraim but didn’t care for the footprint size.
I must admit, out of all the racks out there the Fraim is one of the few I really like the style of. I think too many look outdated but that is just my opinion.
Interestingly the dealer mailed today saying they have updated their site and added the legs back in…oopsy. It was only supposed to be a tongue in cheek post; but I accept the feedback and duly noted.
