Did Naim decide to give these away for free to Solstice Owners? If not, is there a price? It may help people to decide whether or not they want one!
It’s great that it’s going to be available and will make cartridge choice much more straightforward.

AFAIK, it will be offered by Naim dealers. I guess it will up to them whether they charge their customers for one or not. I just want to know who of the Solstice owners here is interested.
I know that of the owners who have posted on this thread, a number are not regular posters, so I may well have to assume they might want one anyway.

Thanks Richard. My suggestion, ages ago, was to make as many as there are Solstices. Once the tooling is set up, making 500 won’t cost much more than making 50. But if they only make 50, what happens when owner 51 realises that they have an issue, which may not be until several years time? Another production run or a reply along the lines of hard cheese? I bet most owners don’t even know there is a problem, and will only find out when they fit a new cartridge and find that the arm won’t balance. I bet also that only a tiny proportion of Solstice owners look at the forum, or even know it exists.

The dealers will be informed, as they will have the contact with the customer.
Obviously offering one of the first samples to forum Solstice owners directly is a nice gesture from Naim

Excellent, though it still makes sense just to make 500. Who wouldn’t want one?
Perfect timing… I broke my Equinox a few days ago and learned there are no replacements available from Naim. I’ve already purchased a new Lyra Kleos SL.

I was told by my dealer there were no replacements available. I just reached out to him and asked to re-inquire with the USA agent.
I’ve just heard that some new stock is available (or is imminent). They probably haven’t been told as yet, but will get a communication from Naim at some point soon I would guess.

Can I obtain one as a souvenir? I want to put it on the bookshelf next to my extremely rare original Aro “heavy” counterweight. That sits next to my equally rare spool of fishing line.
