I just hooked up my SuperCap DR and my SuperLine to the Solstice. I recently moved from a house on the west coast of Norway to an apartment in Oslo, so getting the Solstice up and running has not been a priority. For me, the 500-series and Solstice (and the Niimbus HPA) with Harbeth 40.2s are all simply awesome. And although everything can be bettered all the time, I don’t ever feel the need for more, or for something new and different. But I still find it interesting when other people venture for more.

Awesome system! Superline/Supercap realizes the full potential of the Solstice/Equinox deck. I highly recommend 1k and 100R airplugs which do make an audible difference and are worth the effort.

Their house sound is completely different! Have you tried their cartridges at all?

I spoke with Chord and they can make a Music cable with BNC adapters for the Solstice… hope to order one someday.

I’m in no hurry to get a new tonearm cable, but it’s nice to know there are options. I have ordered the Airplugs and a whole lotta vinyl records!
