Mine arrived today, thanks!

Ok bought a Lyra kleos and now have it fitted and running in. I have a Brinkmann bardo and the solstice so tried it on both. I think I marginally prefer it on the solstice but there is not a lot in it. As you would expect it is more about the style of presentation vs one being better than the other. One thing I can certainly say is the kleos is better in every way to the equinox for me (as you would expect given the price)

Fitting was easy, though it does sit quite far back in the head shell it is not far enough back to foul the pins. Counterweight is a much tighter fit than the original and does not feel like it will drift like some found with the old one.

Thanks again to all at Naim for getting the issue resolved.

Thanks for the report and photos, @Ryder35 !

What did you do to ensure proper alignment? I’m rather afraid of that process

A good protractor helps, interestingly using this overhang is shorted than the Naim protractor, but let’s not go there again!

And how did you know/decide which geometry to use?

Pretty much random🤣 I went with the middle one (baerwald)

Baerwald is a pretty standard geometry and a good choice to use for most things.

Has anyone in the States received their weight? Not I . .

Me neither…
:weary:

Nope!

Hey strangers - I can loan you guys my vintage, original, collectible, Aro Heavy Counterweight🤣

I think it is the light one we need

Naim UK report that the weights were dispatched to Focal Naim NA (they could not ship direct to us US-located individual customers) and have been received there and thus should be in our hands perhaps next week.
