Hopefully tomorrow, this time:crossed_fingers:, will bring my 15 month wait to an end.

I like the LED swirl around the volume button. Is that present on any current boxes?

I’ve merged your thread with the existing one.

I hope not too much time was taken developing funky ‘knobs’ - I would like that time spent on the good bits…time will tell…

Would be very suprised, if it is not the New Classic Line. A vertical but not horizontal vollume knob. So not a Unity product. A guess the replacement for 272. But maybe far more?

Didn’t Linn used to have fins (albeit pointy ones) on their power amps. It’s so passé…

Excellent, looking forward to the reveal tomorrow. I hope the new (illuminated?) volume control and casework updates filter through rest of the line soon.

How does that work if you have multiple boxes, and for whatever reason the preamp can’t go on the top?

Also, if that is a single box shown, it suggests it is an integrated amp, because only the power amp (or possibly a big power supply) might need fins, but normally doesn’t sport a volume control. Alternatively anotherall-in-one, which would seem unlikely considering that the Uniti range is so recent, unless they’ve decided it’s time for a mk 2.

But I guess we mean the same

Tha’ s why I wrote vertical, like every classic product amp. In the Unity products those sit horizontally on top

Maybe there will be also some new products with two knobs. Vollume and ballance ?

Sorry, I was thinking from the angle of use, not the orientation of the knob, so yesindeed.

So… no Green Logos then… :astonished:

My hope would be a switchable white / green LED logo but I don’t think that’s going to happen

Or a Logo that turns from White to Green when in power saving or standby by mode…??

I think we can conclude that the ‘look’ will be similar to the Soltice electronics, with the Statement (or Muso) style volume control.

Makes sense. At least it is consistent then. Still wondering what is happening to the rest of the range. New look…. Is that it?

Will the retail outlets have them in later in the week, to see the look in the flesh and hear if they are an improvement or will it be a wait for that too? If they look too different, I know it’s shallow, I might consider different brands for some components. I love the look of the present stack, sound is very, very good, but there are other brands I’m considering instead of going full 500 for end game (present planned next step).
