ok thanks, fair enough but can I reiterate my request to have the track info page latch? If what you say is true and there is more interest in what’s playing then this would seem an obvious addition.
I have a specific request concerning the new radio aggregator service.
The station now playing page gives details of the station along with the station’s webpages. Fine.
However, the information shown also lists a variety of social media links. This includes the property (X) of the sociopathic billionaire now known as Kekius Maximus, formerly Elon Musk.
I suggest that these social media links be removed (on validity & social responsibility grounds alone).
Hi @castalla
On these products we try and keep politics out of the mix. That’s why there is quite a range of stations without any bias on what we do and don’t include on news/talk stations. Even North Korea have a voice on Naim Radio.
Like it or hate it, X is used by radio stations as a social media outlet and hence why we expose it. If the end user doesn’t have an account then typically it will just show a screen asking them to sign up.

Nice try! Kekius Maximus is politics writ large - I find the inclusion of his personal social medium as offensive. When I peruse a station’s information, I don’t want to be reminded of his pernicious social network.
But hey! I’m just one of those woke Guardian readers.
Thankyou Steve.
I have been using the Hidef folder in the Naim App for 3months, and there are many stations I can’t bring myself to listen to:
eg Pure Radio Hardcore
Is there a way for users to delete or hide such stations from the Hidef folder ?
I am already using the ‘favourites’ and ‘presets’ selection options.
Hello, can you let us know when the firmware release for the Unitiqute is planned to be available? Thanks.
Hi @Dugby
The general idea is the radio directory contains everything. Either browse or search for stations. The ones you like save them as favs/presets. We don’t support filtering the directory as its ever changing on content.

I have 2 online radio stations where I pay t to fund the radio. However none of them will work on the new Naim radio.
Folk Alley not so important since the only thing you get is a add free stream, but no extra it seems.
The other station is different. Radio mars from Denmark found at www.radiomars.dk
The main stream is on the naim radio, however access to shows on demand only works either from web after login or using the radio app they use for streaming.
What should they change so that the added station would work with login and showing the on demand streams?
Claus
Hi Claus,
Radio Mars - It’s a bit hard to give a definitive answer but as the ondemand streams are behind a paywall it’s unlikely they can be added to the naim system unless they are running more a subscriber trust system where they assume subscribers won’t share content. Typically the best way is use Airplay to send the audio to the streamer.
Folk Alley Subscriber - that used to be a normal url that can be added via the ‘added stations’ view.
If you would like this investigated more raise a support ticket to our support team, reference this thread and we’ll do further checks.

High quality station I don’t think is in the database yet: https://listen.camp from https://www.campfr.com/ (organisation includes Chris Watson, Julia Holter, Richard Dawson and other notable artists (if weird experimental stuff is your bag!))
Stream details at https://listen.camp:9000/ stream url: https://listen.camp:9000/campradio.ogg
