I thought I was going mad!! I listen to Radio Paradise all day and it speeds up, stops, starts, speeds up, stops…
I tried turning my 272 off an on, completely turning everything off e.g. router etc. I have done factory resets. My dealer suggested I try another station - listened to JB2 today with no issues.
So I’m relieved to hear there is an issue with Radio Paradise
This is my favourite station. Hope you get a response from RP and can fix things.
Many thanks for saving my sanity (well what’s left of it!)
Hi @Gruido71
In principle good idea.
When we did the design stage of the service we reviewed all other radio directory services out there and one thing that came clear that station descriptions were very hard to curate to where it’s helpful to end users. Also some directories were copying and pasting someone else’s curation and the IP was unclear. So we decided not to do it for initial launch.
Now we have good stats on what our customers listen to we do have plans to improve this area… but I can’t put a timescale on it at this stage.
Much appreciate the feedback.

Seems we have a similar issue on our Superuniti with Radio Paradise main mix.
Hello, just requesting the KBSU, Boise State U. radio be included in the catalog. thanks
hi @Ric
I re-emailed one of the techs at Radio Paradise regarding their problematic stream/server. It seems quite intermittent, but as mentioned above we have replicated here and the speeding up etc. is actually encoded into the AAC stream, rather than it confusing the product. We’ve also verified the fault on VLC player.
Unfortunately we don’t have control over the radio stations output, so if they do have a fault ongoing, we can’t really do much apart from remind them that they should really fix it.

Steve
Hello. Finally upgraded to the latest firmware and setup all my stations except the one I listen to the most: Limbik Frequencies. ![]()
On my Mu-so I’ve done extensive searching in all the places that seem reasonable (including all of the US, which takes a very long time to load), but can not find it. I believe they are based in Milwaukee, WI. Can this please get added back or can you let me know where I should be looking for it?
Thank you!
Thank you! If possible, they also have a 320k stream. I’d link to their website which lets you pick between 128 and 320 (it’s not Facebook), but the forum stops me and says that’s not allowed. Appreciate your help!
Hi @low-bead
Adjusted:
- station now uses 320k.
- website and facebook entry mapped accordingly

Radio Paradise got back to me - they’ve had loading issues on their EU/UK servers which results in this audio problem.
They’ve done some adjustments so hopefully that will improve matters.
Let me know how it goes

Cheers, Steve. I really appreciate the update. I’ve been playing the FLAC stream without issue so all good.
Hi Steve
So far so good, no issues after 6 hours listening today.
Thank you for your help
Cheers

Fabulous - thanks Steve - my Radio Paradise is back up and running - no speeding up, no stopping - seems to be working fine. Thanks again
@Stevesky I’m still having issues with Radio Paradise speeding up etc.
This is in both my car system (Naim) and via NAS drive with Asset installed, so it appears there is still an issue with their UK servers.
Hi @Blythe
I’ve nudged the engineers at Radio Paradise again. This isn’t a Naim issue - we just play what we’re given, so it would be more effective to also report this on the Radio Paradise forum.

Steve
@Stevesky Many thanks - I’ll get onto them from now on if it continues.
