New ND5XS2 set up problems

I’m not sure if this should be in the HiFi Corner, but thought there might be more streaming experts here.

I am trying to set up a new ND5XS2. It is my second ND5XS2 - my first is currently in Salisbury having a dead right channel repaired. Like the first, I am connecting by WiFi. I have installed the unit correctly and switched it on (I would say that being a white logo model it it difficult to see the logo in sunlight).

Now I think it is still powered on, but all I see is a white light around the power button and a solid blue/purple LED. The logo is not illuminated. According to the connection instructions in the app, the blue logo means it is updating, but it has been like this for an hour. Can anyone advise what I should do next?

I also have an Ethernet connection to my ND555. I could plug it in there and see if it works. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would wire it to your network to start. Find the ip address via your router, and see what pops up in a browser.

Thanks, Robert. That was what it needed.I plugged it into a nearby mesh unit and bingo. I think I’ll get a Chord Ethernet cable down from the loft and leave it hardwired.
