Can’t believe how good my new Nova sounds out the box with kef ls50 speakers (still waiting on stands which will improve things) and I guess the burn in process will also improve things further still.
Need to sort streaming out as only tried with Bluetooth from iTunes.
Need to sort some 3.5m cables as only have 2m qed xt25 cables.
You might find using Airplay from iTunes sounds better than Bluetooth depending on where the content’s from (eg iTunes/Apple Music or ripped CDs/other lossless audio).
Apple have made it all very confusing rebranding things.
When you say iTunes do you mean Apple Music on a phone or perhaps iTunes app on a PC (which on a Mac is now renamed Music)?
If you’ve ripped CDs in the past and they’re in lossless quality (probably listed as ALAC or similar in settings) I think Airplay still allows sending audio in CD quality rather than lossy formats such as MP3 or standard AAC. Music streamed from an Apple Music subscription or store purchases will usually be AAC at 256kbps which is lossy audio. Although you can technically play hi-res audio from Apple Music it’s tricky to get it to play on other non-Apple devices - the Nova already supports this if and when Apple decide to allow hi-res Airplay to more general products including most hi-fi brands.
