New owner of the amazing Olive NAT 03 - but no manual

Hi All, I’ve searched and searched online but can’t find a copy of the owner’s manual for this tuner. PDF/electronic or otherwise.

Does anyone have a lead or link they can help me with to find.

Thanks so much!

I don’t. But I would be very surprised if there was much more in the manual than the following:

  1. Place tuner on rack.
  2. Connect to mains.
  3. Connect FM aerial to back of tuner.
  4. Switch on.
  5. Use tuning knob to locate radio station you want to hear.
  6. One green light means it’s tuned.
  7. Second green light (from memory the lower one) means it’s in stereo too.
  8. (Optional) Ditch all previously held convictions that any other sources that you might have are decent ones.

Yep, that’s exactly what I did plus hooking it up to Galaxie 17 aerial … fitter thought I was mad …

Thanks for replying - Christopher M you are probably right!

Still I’d love to have the manual if anyone can share a link or way to get it.

Chris, do you have a “user manual” for the 03? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one……

I guess nobody ever bothered to digitise one. There’s someone selling a paper manual on ebay right now if anyone’s interested.

I recommend upgrading to a NAT 01 immediately

Indeed, when I bought my NAT03 used many years ago, it didn’t come with a manual… not sure I needed or missed it as the product is essentially plug and play and very simple to operate. I guess I am curious over its stated specifications.

Go on Simon, let your hair down…..

So a chap goes to the trouble of photographing the pages of his Naim tuner manual with his smartphone, which includes the NAT03 that the Op asked for, and publishes them here. At the time of writing he has gathered two likes. You couldn’t make it up. Talk about a thankless task.
