Having a suspended floor with a built up compacted foundation under the hifi and speakers sounds a fantastic solution.
I would imagine any room vibrations channelled through the floor would terminate at the foundation.
I believe some with a large solid ground floor have cut deep grooves filled with a lossy gel surrounding the hifi zones. With wooden flooring following, as a means of controlling floor vibration energy.
