Hi all. Am completely new to Naim - aside from being aware that is overall of higher end quality- so looking for guidance ref new set up for music streaming that am embarking on.
Previously, way back in the day I had a Squeezebox set up, but then switched to current Bluesound set up after the demise of Squeezebox post Logitech takeover.
So am looking a streamer to connect to the amp, or to speakers directly for the main room, and then a powered speaker or 2 for smaller room. All to be able to be synched of course. I have my own music on a qnap NAS in FLAC, so looking to be able to mix up playing between that library and the normal streaming services via the Naim app.
Appreciate that this is a reasonably vague message but appreciate any thoughts/advice
Welcome.
AirPlay2 might be your best option and as long as both streamers in both rooms are compatible with AP2, you should be able to sync them.
I believe a Roon setup may be able to offer syncing.
Otherwise, two Naim streamers / Streamer/amps/ Muso will be able to multi-room in sync.
If you can give us information about what is connected to your blusound currently and whether you have a system in both rooms. And what you’re likely budget would be.
The more information like that which you give us the better the advice will be.
